  • Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, has announced that he has chosen our own Bishop William as the new Archbishop of Pittsburgh and Metropolitan of the Byzantine Catholic Church in the USA. Metropolitan-Designate William will be enthroned on on Wednesday, April 18th, 2012. May God grant to his servant, our new Metropolitan, many happy, healthy and fruitful years!

  • This year's Pre-Cana instruction will be held on two consecutive Sundays: March 18th & 25th. If you are planning on getting married this year, now is the time to let Father Michael know, as only he can register you for this required instruction. Father's deadline for submitting couples for the event is March 11th; so, you must let him know before then.

  • This year's Wedding Jubilarian Celebration will be on Sunday, March 18th, in Minersville. The celebration is for those married for years that are multiples of five (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.). If this means you, then please leave a message for Loretta at the rectory and let her know.

A publishing house offering many helpful resources for Eastern Christians, both Catholic and Orthodox. Some official publications of our Church can be obtained here, along with scholarly journals concerning the Eastern Churches, and some offical publications of other Eastern Churches.

The official web site of the Vatican and all it's dicasteries and departments. Among other things, it offers the texts of many Church documents, along with the homiles and addresses of Pope Benedict XVI, and other valuable recources concerning the Catholic Church.

Bibilia Clarus

A resource for Catholic priests provided by the Holy See's Congregation for Clergy. It offers official and patristical commentaries on Holy Scripture, homilies of the Fathers of the Church, magisterial documents, and access to the electronic library of the Congregation.
