St. Michael Parish Center is available for rent for all but the following kinds of events (in other words, these kinds of events are not permitted):

  • Sweet 16 parties,

  • events with live music,

  • events in which alcohol will be served.

There are no exceptions.

The fee for the rental of our parish center is $350.00 for non-parishioners, plus a supplemental insurance fee (if necessary). Payment of the insurance fee, if required, is needed at least one month before the event; but payment of the rental fee may be made afterward. We do not require any kind of deposit to reserve the center, nor is their any penalty for canceling your event at any time. Should you cancel your event, the rental fee, if it has already been paid, will be returned to you. Unfortunately, the supplemental insurance fee is not refundable, since it will have already been sent to our insurance company.

The availability of our center depends entirely on our parish schedule. On Sundays, events may not begin until 3:00PM. On any day, all cleanup must be completed and the hall vacated by 10:00 PM.

While our center has a kitchen, it is for the use of our parish only. You are not permitted to cook food in our center, nor use any facilities in the kitchen.

All activities held in our parish center by non-parishioners must be covered by insurance. You have two options here:

  1. You may provide your own insurance. To do this, you must provide a certificate of insurance to the parish, which provides evidence of general liability coverage of not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) per event. You must agree to have the parish named as an “Additional Insured” on your general liability policy for the date of your event. It is not sufficient to present a certificate of insurance which names the parish simply as a “certificate holder.” Your own insurance company should be able to provide you with the necessary certificate you need to give us, which should be presented to us along with the signed “Facility Usage/Indemnity Agreement” supplied by us.

  2. If you do not have the kind of insurance mentioned above, we can offer you insurance coverage for your event through our own insurance company for a fee, which would provide the necessary coverage for your event. To obtain this coverage, you must fill out the “Special Events Application” included in the package of material we will provide, with all the information requested.

If you are interested in renting our center for an event, please write to our parish office at the address listed under "Contacts" on the front page of this web site. Please do not call the rectory for this purpose. All inquiries about renting the center must be received by mail and must include an address to which we will mail the rental application package. The completed forms and applicable insurance fees must be received one month before the scheduled event.
