Convention 2002:
Arizona

Details about Convention 2002, in Scotsdale Arizona, will be reported in full in forthcoming monthly messages, at the European Chapter Annual meeting, and in the newsletter.

EAC members in attendance included Maria Rankine (President), Donna de Wick, Linda Varner, and Bobbi Wilson.

Highlights included the return of Tray, the traveling PR award that the EAC won in 2000. Sigma Kappas all enjoyed looking through Tray's travel photos. Tray is now with the Tacoma Washington Alumnae Chapter.

The European Alumnae Chapter also had the honour of winning 3 awards and receiving three honourable mentions:

  • Award for 100% Increase in Dues Paying Membership
  • Newsletter Award
  • Frances Mann Hall Award for most improved alumnae chapter not in a college community
  • Honourable Mention Outstanding Public Relations
  • Honourable Mention Triangle Award
  • Honourable Mention Eleanor Dygert Haddon Award for greatest percent increase in dues paying members

EAC members also had the chance to meet with delegates from James Madison University - Amy Goss, Kerry Grochmal, and Courtney Helsing - building the relationship between our chapters.
