PRINCIPAL CHAIRS
Each section shall have a principal chair. The Principal chair shall determine the seating for the section, be responsible for sectional rehearsals, and play solos within the section. The principal chair may select alternate individuals to play solos in consultation with the Principal Conductor and Artistic Director. Principal Chairs are appointed by the Principal Conductor and Artistic Director.
