Nest Boxes

Materials

First Year

I used a rubbermaid rough neck container filled with dry potting soil.  The was placed perpendicular to the container giving George a large entrance to the nest box.

While she spent a lot of time digging, she did not seem satisfied with the nest box.  She spent a lot of time digging at the back sliding door.  The carpet got somewhat shredded back there.  All day long she ran all over the house looking for better nesting location.
