"There is no cause to worry. The high tide of prosperity will continue." — Andrew W. Mellon, Secretary of the Treasury.

Remember veterans this month  and Happy Thanksgiving!

Topics of interest:

No humorous submissions this month.  Hope you have some for December.  I kept October's up on the Humor page.

The website of the month is on the More Politics page called Names of the Dead.  Rep. Alan Grayson reads letters of Americans who have died due to lack of health insurance.  There are growing number of us.  Yes, even the editor of this newsletter has no medical insurance.  Sadder still is that our political leaders continue to work for multi-national corporations.  Don't give up the fight America!  You're waking up!  Let's take action!

Keep up the great work!  Change begins with you!

We are making a huge difference!

All news here is worthwhile, because more than likely you will not find it on mainstream media.

Michele updates the newsletter on or around the 15th of each month.  Deadlines for news articles, jokes, cartoon, events, letters, etc. on the 11th of every month.  Please email them to Michele at mspencr@ix.netcom.com

It doesn't matter what your political, religious or socioeconomic beliefs are, as long as you have an open mind and want to learn more about what you don't hear on the life sucking box sitting in your livingroom.  This is a place to learn and be active.  This is a reader centered newsletter.  Welcome!

Messages to all readers:

Welcome!  This is a reader centered newsletter and get absolutely nothing monetary from this except the satisfaction that people come away from this newsletter laughing, crying, getting active,  learning something, and most of all creating change to make the world a better place.

Your news stories, comments, suggestions, materials and questions are always welcome.  All information that is considered factual newsworthy information must have a source.  Those not considered news stories are commentaries and/or humor.  Here's what's happening in this month's issue:

Remember, you can skip over whatever you don't want to read.  You can just click to navigate now instead of scrolling through loads of pages. Underlined headlines are almost all links to pages within the site and outside of it.
