それはジュピターおんみずからが、かの大いなる戦いで使ったのだ、
かつて天に向かい反乱せりティターン族を相手取る[かの戦いで]。
その名もクリサオルと呼べり。
クリサオル、すべての剣にまさる剣。
そのことはジュピターが巨人たちを征伐したことで立証済みなり。
なぜなら、それはもっとも完璧な金属からできていた。
それらと一緒にアダマントで鍛えられていた。
そして刃は金で飾られていた、もののみごとに、
よってそこから「黄金の剣」と名づけられたのだ。
知名度もさることながら、性能でもおとらなかった、
この剣にかかれば、どんな物質だろうと、頑丈か硬すぎて
貫通や両断できないことはない。
また、いかなる鎧も、その衝撃を防禦するにおよばず、
剣が直撃したところは、完全なまでに砕けた。
