Bill Shipman's 20th Coaching Anniversary Draws Old Friends Waltham, MASS - Homecoming weekend at Brandeis brought many old fencers back to the campus to celebrate Bill Shipman's 20 years of coaching at Brandeis. Shipman came to Brandeis in 1981 as the head coach of both men’s and women’s fencing and has continued the long tradition of fencing excellence at Brandeis, but his greatest impact may be in the lasting memories so many people have of their time fencing at Brandeis. It was a great time and hopefully more people will share in the fun during future events. The Dinner was attended by Mike Mayer, Doreen Manevitz, Jen Kang, Mike Mayer, Mike Lesser, Tim Hermann, Chris Spencer, Brian Sirlin, Ken Shih, Dan Korschun, Steve Most, Cyndy Myers, Julia Becker, Ali Brennan, Julia Olzsewski, Jen Meir, Aaron Waxler, Alex Banks, Sarah Flier and Mark Bonetzky.
