'Shrooming at Work This is the most disturbing fungus I've ever seen and I found it right outside my office door on May 27. I think I saw this in an Anime movie doing something unspeakable to a girl in a sailor dress.
Thanks to the diligent research of one Roger Clark, the identity of the sexual space fungus has been revealed: an Elegant Stinkhorn. It really does stink and its family name indicates that we modern perverts weren't the only ones to snigger about its morphological relationship to a schlong. Further 'Shrooming We had such a wet spring and summer that I found a whole mushroom forest growing at the base of a tree in my yard. Again, shockingly colored, these weren't nearly so exciting in shape. I told Emily she should harvest a few and make an omelette.
