Replace
lamps and light bulbs with low wattage, fluorescent
fixtures;
they use a quarter of the energy that normal incandescent
lighting
does.
Install
motion sensors, dimmer switches, and timers
wherever
it’s possible.
Make
sure all areas that might let air leak in or out are caulked
effectively
to reduce draughts.
Substitute
energy-saving showerheads in your bathroom; this reduces
water
heating costs very much.
Install
ceiling fans in every room to help keep things cool.
