What is
Electricity?
Electricity can be generated by friction, induction, or chemical
change and it occurs when electrons
accumulate on an atom or body.

What is it Used For?
Almost all of the appliances we take for granted, such as
dishwashers,
washers
and dryers, air conditioning, and lights, use electricity to run.
Even cars use batteries to start. Electricity runs our defense
systems,
electronic databases in businesses, and
library catalogues. Our lives
really
revolve around electricity when you stop and think about it.
