change and it occurs when electrons accumulate on an atom or body.

 

What is it Used For?

Almost all of the appliances we take for granted, such as dishwashers,

 
 washers and dryers, air conditioning, and lights, use electricity to run.

Even cars use batteries to start. Electricity runs our defense systems,

electronic databases in businesses, and library catalogues. Our lives

 really revolve around electricity when you stop and think about it.

 

Why is it important to conserve energy?

 

 
There are many reasons why it is important to save energy; for one, it

lowers your electric and gas bills. By making energy smart decisions,

you can also free up more power to be shared by everyone, and more to
