-Students make a calendar with birthdays and other important events.
-Students will choose a Spanish speaking country and will create their own passport.
-Culture: Reading "Important Celebrations in the Spanish speaking world" and "Why do Spanish speakers have two last names?"
-Writing activity: Students will write a paragraph about one of their classmates (name, nationality, phone number, birthday, age)

 

How are names in Hispanic countries different from those in American culture? (Health and Social Education).

Our activities "Gustar" conjugation.
"Tener" conjugation.
-AR verbs in the present tense.
Subjects in school.
"Tener que ..." expressions.
Adverbs of frequency (sometimes, once in a while, never, etc).

 

-Students will be able to express what classess they like or dislike and why.
-Students will use -AR verbs as well as adverbs of frequency to talk about their activities during the day (sing, dance, study everyday, etc).
-Students will make use of "tener que..." expressions in order to tell their obligations (home and school).
