Pictured is my friends Mario's boat. Its a 1976 Eliminator Bubble deck. Poking out from the back is an original
L-72 427 Chevy BB with a polished wieand tunnel ram and other custom goodies. In this picture it was at the 1999 Sac, Ca Autorama
where it took first place and best of show in the boat class!
He borrowed my rims from my Ranchero just for the show.

There is a neet story behind this boat. Mario bought it from his Dad in 1998 from which it had sat for at least 10 years without
seeing water. Marios Dad bought the bare hull from Eliminator in 1976 and custom made every bracket and engine mount himself,
and also did the awsome Candy Paint job which consisted of a lot of air brush work! So the boat was done in 1977 and thats
the same condition that it won the Autorama!!

The pump was a Berkley JG-A with more work done to it than I even know! It had a stainless A/B impeller,
Rideplate/shoe, and A LOT of flow work. It did about 85MPH!!
Every Story has a sad ending and this is no exception! Mario sold this fine Eliminator in Oct, 00.
