Welcome to our homepage on the World Wide Web! I'm glad you stopped by. Noodle and Otto have gone on to "Doxie Heaven",
but you'll still find lots of facts about the Dachshund Picnics, and Dachshunds in general here.
Feel free to browse around, and enjoy your visit!

That is a photo of my buddy "Otto", on the left,
and me, "Noodle", catching the breeze
at Seaport Village, in San Diego.

Our humans started the "San Diego Dachshunds'
Picnic" 20 years ago for Noodle's 1st Birthday. We now have at least 800 to 900 people show up at the picnic in Balboa Park
throughout the day!
The Dachshunds' Summer Picnic is held in July. (See "Picnic Pages", link at bottom of page,
for more info.)
We also have a "Hallo-Wiener Dachshund Picnic" in October as well! There are lots of interesting costumes
and Dachshunds to see. Noodle and the picnics have even been on the news a number of times.
The "San Diego Dachshund
Club" now organizes and runs the picnics.
You can get more information and get on their mailing list by calling their
number at: 1-858-755-9270
(There are no fees to get on the list or to attend the picnics. The Picnics remain a free
and non-competitive event. Owners are responsible for their pets behavior at all times, and hold harmless the San Diego Dachshund
Club, its members, or this web site, by their attendance and/or participation at any Dachshund Club events.)
